Our company offers a range of cold-curing polyurethane elastomers. The RTV material line is constantly maintained in stock – 30A, 45A and 70A, which guarantees stable quality and fast availability for your projects.
Polyurethane elastomers are a relatively small but extremely important group of polyurethanes in terms of their application. Due to their unique combination of mechanical and operational properties, they are widely used not only for the manufacture of molds for casting gypsum and concrete, but also as an effective alternative to rubber products.
Polyurethane elastomers are characterized by high strength (40–60 MPa) and significant elongation at break – up to 500–1000%, which is a unique indicator among polymer materials. Due to this, they are successfully used as a replacement for rubber, and sometimes even metal or other polymer parts.
Due to their properties, RTV elastomers are widely used for:
- manufacturing molds for casting gypsum and concrete
- manufacturing technical elastic parts
- creating wear-resistant and damping elements of equipment
- the materials also demonstrate high resistance to abrasion, weathering, oils, fats and many chemicals, and also work well under dynamic loads.
