Static mixers are used for mixing two component polymeric materials of various applications - from medicines to shipbuilding glues. The goal of static mixer is to homogenize of material, to smooth out the gradient of viscosity and color, to bar from getting to mixing of air inclusions. This makes possible to get excellent quality of finished articles – castings and glue seams.

The most widespread two component polymers that mixed with static mixers are silicones, polyurethane elastomers and epoxy resins. The static mixers are often used for mixing glue materials, liquid and slurred.
